The 5th Los Angeles Turkish Film Festival (LATFF), in collaboration with USC Visions & Voices: The Arts and Humanities Initiative, Outside the Box [Office], and USC Middle East Studies Program (MESP), has announced the feature-length film line up set to take place April 11-15th, 2017.

The opening night film for this year’s Festival is acclaimed Director Zeki Demirkubuz’s Asia Pacific Screen Awards Best Film Nominee EMBER. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with the film’s director Zeki Demirkubuz.

The closing night screening is Antalya Golden Orange Best Cinematography Award winner MEMORIES OF THE WIND. Following the screening, the film’s director Ozcan Alper will be in attendance for a Q&A session.

North American premiere of Yılmaz Erdoğan’s SOUR APPLES and Cannes Film Festival France 4 Visionary Award winner Mehmet Can Mertoğlu’s ALBUM will be screened.

In addition to feature film screenings, LATFF Selection of Turkish Short Films will be screened.
